Arlington: Schools seek budget input
The Arlington School Board has scheduled a work session for 5:30 p.m. Tuesday to get public input about the 2009-10 budget.
The meeting will take place in the Arlington High School commons, 18821 Crown Ridge Blvd.
No final action will be taken.
Everett: Budget cuts and kids focus of talk
The Snohomish County League of Women Voters has scheduled a free public meeting, What’s Happening to Our Children, at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Snohomish County PUD building, 2320 California St., Everett.
Refreshments will be served. The presentation highlights the effects of budget cuts on at-risk children in the county.

Mukilteo: Plant exchange scheduled
Trade bulbs, plants or small trees at 2 p.m. Saturday at a free plant exchange at the Mukilteo Library, 4675 Harbour Pointe Blvd.
