Motorcyclist dies of injuries following crash

ARLINGTON — A 20-year-old motorcyclist injured in a crash Saturday night died Sunday at a Seattle hospital.

The King County Medical Examiner identified the man Monday as Tanner H. Peterson of Arlington. He death was ruled an accident.

The motorcycle crashed just after 9 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of 204th Street NE and 77th Avenue NE, Arlington city spokeswoman Kristin Banfield said. It appears the biker was trying to avoid hitting an SUV.

Peterson was taken by helicopter to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle where he died. No one else was injured.

No criminal charges are expected, Banfield said.
