This week’s featured new home is a three-bedroom, 2.5-bath design located in the gated subdivision of Greenfield Park just south of Everett Mall.
A rear alley provides access to the finished two-car garage that has a single door wired with electric opener. A covered front porch supported by tapered pillars leads to a formal front door with a leaded glass inset window.
The three-story home, which was built by Bonterra Homes, has Category-V cable, forced air natural gas heating, and wiring for surround sound and security systems.
Ceramic tile flooring covers the lower level that, in addition to the garage, includes a room that could be a home office or bedroom and a large storage closet carved from the stairwell.
On the second floor are formal living and dining rooms, a bathroom, a laundry room and a kitchen. On the third floor are a master suite, two additional bedrooms and a full bathroom.
On the main floor, the focal point of the formal living room is a corner gas fireplace with a raised hearth and a ceramic tile and wood surround. Other amenities include a 9-foot ceiling, a wood-wrapped window and two square-shaped privacy windows.
Adjacent to the staircase is a storefront door that opens to a covered balcony that overlooks the street. There’s also an alcove that could be used for a computer workstation.
An arched opening framed by two columns resting on pedestals frames the formal living room. This area has a bay window, formal chair railing and shadowboxing and an oil-rubbed bronze and alabaster chandelier.
The kitchen has an L-shaped breakfast bar, paneled cabinets with crown molding and plant shelves, ceramic tile countertops, complementary vinyl flooring and a stainless steel appliance package that includes a smooth-top cooktop, an over-the-range microwave and a dishwasher.
The powder room has a pedestal sink, an arched vanity mirror, alabaster light fixtures and a square-shaped privacy window. The laundry room has a window, vinyl flooring and a storage shelf.
A drop-down pendant light fixture and a large window brighten the staircase ascending to the third level. The master suite dominates the upper level. The sleeping area has a vaulted ceiling and an oversized clerestory window.
Master bathroom amenities include a double vanity topped with ceramic tile, matching vinyl on the floor, a soaker tub encased in a tile surround, a freestanding shower with a faux white tile fiberglass shell and a clear glass enclosure, and a large walk-in wardrobe closet with multi-tiered storage shelves on three walls.
The remaining two bedrooms are oriented toward the alley and have paneled sliders enclosing standard closets, cable hookups and frosted light fixtures centered overhead.
