1 killed in icy crash near Westport

WESTPORT — The Washington State Patrol says one person was killed and five injured when a car went out of control on an icy roadway and slid into an oncoming pickup truck near Westport.

The patrol says the crash Sunday afternoon on Highway 105 killed a 25-year-old Ocean Shores man, Aron Damaranville, who was a passenger in the car. Both drivers and three other passengers were injured.
