Libraries offer free craft programs for holiday decorations

Published 2:56 pm Thursday, December 11, 2008

Crafty ideas: The Everett Public Library and the Mountlake Terrace Library are each offering free craft programs for holiday decorations and gifts.

All ages, children to adult, are welcome to stop in and make tree decorations from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday at the Everett library’s main branch. Supplies will be provided. The library folks have an ulterior motive: Some of the decorations will find their way to the library’s tree. The rest you can take home.

The Everett Public Library is at 2702 Hoyt Ave. Call 425-257-8000, or check their Web site, www.epls.org for more information about library events.

Teens are invited to the Mountlake Terrace library at 1 p.m. Saturday to test their skills at crafting presents for friends and family. Make some cool jewelry or art glass magnets. There will be games, too, and cider and cookies.

The Mountlake Terrace Library is at 23300 58th Ave. W. Call 877-766-4753. Check out the Sno-Isle Web site for other library events, www.sno-isle org.
