Letter: Monthly PUD billing costly, unnecessary

Our PUD electric meters are being replaced with electronic meters within three years. Now the meters are being read every month instead of two months because we could not tolerate the billing estimate that was calculated when our new computer system became operational. We have lost $18 million and haven’t gained anything. This seems like a bad business decision.
