If nothing else, he’s comped for life at the Trump Taj Mahal breakfast buffet: In a surprise announcement, which means the pundits didn’t see it coming, former shouty Republican presidential candidate Chris Christie endorsed current shouty Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on Friday.
So what’s in it for Christie? Attorney general? Secretary of state? Or perhaps senior presidential counselor and special assistant to the White House pastry chef?
What’s in a name: A Swiss lawyer named Gianni Infantino has been elected as president of FIFA, the scandal-plagued world soccer body.
“Infantino” sounds like Donald Trump trying to get creative with his next tweeted insult of Marco Rubio.
Don’t know much about history: On this day in 1951, the 22nd Amendment to the Constitution, limiting presidents to two terms, was ratified.
On this day in 2023 in future history, President and Supreme Commander Donald J. Trump will decree the 22nd Amendment null and void, and award himself a third term.
