RENTON — Help is on the way.
Seattle Seahawks head coach Mike Holmgren said Monday that he expects to get several players back after this weekend’s bye, and the team could have a full slate of options when the team returns to the field a week from Sunday.
Holmgren said wide receivers Deion Branch, Bobby Engram and Koren Robinson, running back Maurice Morris and backup quarterback Seneca Wallace should all be back from injuries and practicing next week. He added that guard Floyd Womack, who strained a hamstring Sunday, should also be back in action next week.
“They’re telling me these guys are coming back, but until I see it, I’m just going to reserve judgment here,” Holmgren said.
