Pancake breakfast set to benefit cancer patient

An all-you-can-eat Norwegian pancake breakfast will benefit Gary Cease at Ebenezer Lutheran Church.

Cease, 51, has been diagnosed with a malignant melanoma. He has been a coach and referee for kids for more than 30 years in the Lake Stevens area.

A $5 donation is suggested. The church is at 2111 117th Ave. NE in Lake Stevens. Breakfast will be served from 7:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday.
