Girls swimming
Louise Moores swam 4A state meet qualifying times in winning the 50-yard freestyle (25.44 seconds) and 100 freestyle (55.64) races and swam on two winning relay teams in a 96-87 win over Oak Harbor.
Boys cross country
Cascade’s Dylan Hopper broke the course record at Arlington’s River Meadows Park by 11 seconds. He ran the 3.1-mile course in 16 minutes, 24 seconds.
Football
Monroe quarterback Bryan Sonneveldt passed for 401 yards and five touchdowns in a 39-27 win over Sedro-Woolley.
Volleyball
Liliya Kibitskaya of Lakewood set a school record with 25 digs in a 3-0 loss to South Whidbey.
Girls soccer
Annie Thomas of Lake Stevens scored two goals in a 3-1 win over Snohomish and had three assists in a 5-1 win over Cascade.
Boys tennis
Kyle Luck and Zach Meyer of Stanwood won back-to-back tiebreakers to win their No. 1 doubles match in a 4-3 win over Oak Harbor.
Girls cross country
Suzanna Ohlsen of Monroe finished first in a four-team meet at Skykomish River Park, covering the 2.9-mile course in 17 minutes, 36 seconds.
