Park Board to discuss plans for Eagle Ridge
The Lake Stevens Park Board is scheduled to discuss plans for Eagle Ridge Park at its meeting Tuesday.
The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Community-Senior Center, 1808 Main St.
Eagle Ridge Park is located at 2302 Soper Hill Road.
The city is planning to locate its new senior center in the park.

Marysville
Group pushing for theater venue
The Marysville Community Playhouse Association has scheduled a meeting to discuss raising funds for a performing arts venue in the city.
The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Sept. 24 at the Marysville Library, 6120 Grove St.
The group also is seeking board members.

Mill Creek
Seniors to ask for money for new center
The Mill Creek Senior Foundation is planning a presentation to the Mill Creek City Council Sept. 9 to ask for money to build a senior center in the city.

Mukilteo
New exhibit shows life in the Roaring ’20s
A new historical exhibit, “Mukilteo: The Way We Were,” is scheduled to open on Saturday.
The event is planned for 1 p.m. in Quarters B at the Mukilteo Light Station, 608 Front St.
The exhibit features historic photos and artifacts focusing on city life in the 1920s.
Volunteers in period costumes plan to relate stories about Mukilteo in that era.
Refreshments will be served.
