Here is how some of your tax money was spent in recent city council action.

Lake Stevens: $58,000 to D&G Backhoe of Lake Stevens to install a septic system for the new Lake Stevens Senior Center.

$23,110 to Fidalgo Paving and Construction of Arlington to pave the gravel parking area just east of 124th Ave. NE and just south of City Hall.

Marysville: $12 million to Wilder Construction of Everett for widening of State Avenue from 136th Street NE to 152nd Street NE.

$11,500 to the Transpo Group of Seattle for additional work on long-term transportation plans and fees charged to builders for development.
