The junior running back rushed for 117 yards on 15 carries and scored a touchdown in a 28-7 loss to No. 1 ranked Royal in the 1A state championship game Saturday.

The senior scored 17 points in a season-opening win over Marysville Pilchuck, followed that with 30 points in a win over Edmonds-Woodway and added 20 points in a win over Everett.

The freshman scored 23 points in a season-opening victory to Cascade, followed that with 10 points in a loss to Mariner and scored 22 points in a victory over Granite Falls.

The senior won the 195-pound division of the Edmonds Invitation Saturday by defeating Ferndale’s Sam Cleary 5-2 in the championship match.
