Starting off with our coverage, we had this notebook leading off with some info on Washington’s quarterback situation if Locker can’t play, which seems more and more likely as the week goes on (I’ll update with what Willingham says when we talk to him in a few hours).

There was aslo this feature on center Juan Garcia, who has gone through a lot to become one of Washington’s top linemen and leaders.

As for Cal, the Contra Cost Times has this story giving an intersting look at the team’s weekly game preperation. The San Francisco Chronicle has a story on Anthony Felder of Seattle, who is having a good year after struggling with injuries last season.
