Huskies hold on for win

That was probably a bit tougher than the Huskies expected, but the Huskies held off SPU for an 86-77 win in tonight’s exhibition game. Jon Brockman led the way with 18 points and eight rebounds, while freshman Venoy Overton had an impressive UW debut with 16 points, five rebounds and four assists.

Rob Diederichs scored 35 points to lead all scorers, which is more than anyone scored against the Huskies all of last season.
