Matadors hanging around

Northridge opened the second half on a 7-0 run that cut Washington’s lead to two, and while the Huskies have since built that lead back up, the Matadors are staying in it. With 9:30 left it’s 56-49 Washington.

Ryan Appleby, who started the second half despite missing much of the first half with back spasms, has not played in a while since going to the bench.
