Where is everyone?

We’re just a few minutes from the start of this game, and there is hardly anyone here. I know this isn’t a match up of national powers or anything, but this place is maybe a third full righ tnow. Perhaps this explains a bit of Stanford’s struggles at home.

Oh, and we just got to watch a rather strange performance by the Stanford band, which is known for their wild antics. This one included a robot walking around “killing” band members as they played. Basically the robot would walk up and tap band members or cheerleaders while they perfromed, and they then had to play dead. Believe me, it didn’t make much more sense in person than it does reading this.

Washington just won the toss and will receive.

By the way, it’s sunny and 81 degrees right now. Not a bad afternoon for football, though not a lot of people are going to see it.
