Washington is up 7-0 already after a five-play, 71-yard touchdown drive, the big play being Louis Rankin’s 46-yard run on the first play of the drive.

Rankin also had gains of five, four, and five yards, the last of which was a touchdown. Carl Bonnell completed his only pass attempt, an 11-yard pass to Johnie Kirton (his second catch of the year, by the way). The offensive line looked good on that drive, especially on Rankin’s touchdown run.
