Just when it looked like Cal had all the momentum after two touchdowns and two UW three and outs, Nate Longshore threw a pass directly into E.J. Savannah’s arms. Savanna’s interception, the first of his career, gave Washington the ball at the Cal 32 yardline.

Louis Rankin carried 10 yards and 21 yards to get the ball to the one, and Luke Kravitz plowed in for the score to make it 21-13. Rankin, who has 158 yards already today, now has 1,011 this season, making him the first Husky to go over 1,000 yards since 1997.
