Halftime stats/Terrible halftime entertainment.

Here’s some stats from a rather wild first half:
Cal has outgained Washington 268-236, but the Huskies are ahead thanks largely to a 2-0 advantage in turnovers.
Louis Rankin is having a monster game with 171 yards and touchdown on 17 carries, accounting for the bulk of Washington’s 185 rushing yards.
Bonnell is just five for 14 for 51 yards, but give him credit for being smart with the football. He’s been good about throwing the ball away when nothing is there, or to avoid a sack.
Cal’s Nate Longshore has been almost perfect, aside from one big mistake (the interception he threw right to E.J. Savannah) completing 14 of 17 passes for 147 yards and three touchdowns.
Justin Forsett is having a big game as well, rushing for 118 yards on 15 carries, including a career-long 58 yarder.
One quick correction, the fumble on the punt return is being credited to Brandon Hampton, not Jeremy Ross. Cal has two No. 3s on its roster. Sorry about the mixup.
Wow. And now Williams Hung, he of American Idol infamy, is singing “She Bangs” at halftime. Not sure how much the UW paid for this, but whatever it was, it was too much. Here and I thought his 15 minutes were up.
