The news out of L.A. today is that UCLA quarterback Ben Olson did not practice yesterday because of “headaches.” It sounds like the team is being vague about the injury, and isn’t saying whether or not Olson suffered a concussion against Utah. UCLA coach Karl Dorrell said Olson needs to practice by Thursday to play in the game. Patrick Cowan, whose father Tim played quarterback at Washington in the early 80s, will likely start if Olson can’t play.
You can find more on Olson and the Bruins in the L.A. Times or L.A. Daily News.
And in case you missed it today, here’s our story in today’s paper looking at this weekend’s game and how both teams are looking to rebound from losses.
