Decision delayed needed checks

I will start out by saying I mean no disrespect to the late President Ford. But why did King George W. Bush, sitting on his mighty throne, close the federal offices? Yes, I know it was in honor of the late president. But we have tax-paying citizens that depended on receiving their check in the mail to buy their groceries and pay their bills.

It wouldn’t have been so bad if Monday wouldn’t have been a holiday. But, now these people had to wait another day, or two. Such a deal, George!
