Bad News for the Huskies

Well Oregon State has defeated USC, which drew a round of applause from the fans in attendance at Husky Stadium, but in reality, is bad news for Washington. USC losing means there’s less chance of the Pac-10 sending two teams to a BCS game, allowing for a seventh bowl team to come from the conference. It also puts a little distance between Washington and Oregon State, putting the Beavers really close to clinching a bowl berth. So there’s not much to celebrate if you’re a UW fan.
