Seek funding to fight AIDS, TB

I want to urge readers to remember that our representatives in Congress are there to do what we request. They depend on our votes to stay in Washington, D.C. Please ask your representative to support the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria. President Bush’s 2007 budget only gave $250 million. The Global Fund needs $866 million just to maintain current programs. The Iraq war has cost $300 billion. Which is the better investment of our taxpayer dollars? You decide.
