Early Impression

There’s just under an hour to go before kickoff, and some of the talk in the press box is how many fans are going to show up for the season-opener. There’s a possibility it could be one of the smallest opening-day crowds in UW history, with under 50,000 fans. The stands are pretty empty right now and there isn’t a ton of activity outside the stadium, at least from what we can see. There’s several boats parked just outside.

The quarterbacks and offensive linemen and some kickers on the the field now warming up.

Just saw a weather report that says it could be 90 degrees today. That means we could see a lot of rotating among players. It should also be pretty good practice for the Huskies for their trip next week to Oklahoma.
