Wow

Since I got everything set up and made sure it was working, I took the time to walk around the stadium and get a better feel for the atmosphere. And all I can say is, Wow. If this isn’t the tailgaiting capital of the country, it’s in the top 5. The people down here certainly know how to throw a pre-game party. It made me wish I was here as a fan and could enjoy it more. There is a fan fest next to the stadium with some activities for kids and a bunch of booths set up. I was outside when the Oklahoma bus arrived, I was surprised that they didn’t have more players, they filled two buses but it didn’t seem like there were too many people who got off it.
Also, we heard that this would be a very welcoming environment for Husky fans, and it most definitely is. In fact, it’s friendly to almost an absurd length. You can’t go two minutes without Sooners fans coming up to you to tell you how happy they are to be there (not me, but some friends of mine in town as Husky fans who I was wandering with). It got to be comical.
Oklahoma’s kickers are on the field warming up and several Husky coaches and support staff are down there right now. We’re about 65 minutes away from kickoff and the stands are starting to fill. The Oklahoma student section is pretty full as it is already.
