The first quarter is over and Washington couldn’t ask for much more. The offensive line is playing generally well. One thing to watch is where Johnie Kirton is, because he’s not a good blocker. But the Huskies are taking advantage of Oklahoma’s blitzing with some draws and traps. Also, Daniel Te’o-Nesheim is having a great game and is putting serious pressure on Sooners’ quarterback Paul Thompson. He was responsible for Scott White’s interception. The biggest thing to watch is how the Huskies react to the heat as the game wears on.

Also, Dashon Goldson limped off the field during the last defensive series. That would be a huge loss for Washington, obviously
