A Better Crowd

The crowd at Husky Stadium is definitely bigger and louder than it was for the first game. That should help Washington as the game goes on, if it keeps up.
The defense looks OK, Scott White has been pretty active. I’m surprised Fresno isn’t running even more than it is because the holes up front are huge. Dwayne Wright is a load, he reminds me of Ron Dayne. Matt Fountaine seemed to stand him up on the last drive but Wright threw Fountaine off him like he was an irritating bug.
Washington’s running game is non-existent, which is bad news. If the Huskies get the lead, they’ll need to run the ball to use up some clock and keep Fresno off the field. Isaiah Stanback may have to win the game by himself, but his receivers are still letting him down with drops.
