Prep girls soccer: Archbishop Murphy 1, Granite Falls 0, 2OT

EVERETT — Lexie Klaudt scored late in the second overtime period to give the Wildcats a 2A District 1 tournament victory on Saturday.

A ball was centered in front of the Granite Falls goal, Kacey Moore controlled the ball and slid it to Klaudt, who battled through a crowd to get it past Tigers’ keeper Kelsey Bechtholdt for the match-winner.

Archbishop Murphy will host Shorecrest in a tournament semifinal on Tuesday at 6 p.m.

Granite Falls will travel to Lynden for a loser-out match on Tuesday.
