Vandals spoil the fun for everyone

To the people who vandalized the Marysville Skate Park, thank you – not for causing tremendous disappointment to my son and all of his friends, but for giving them an example of what not to be when they get older. They volunteered to clean up your mess just so that they can get back to perfecting their boarding skills.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the employees of The Unknown skate shop and all of the “older guys” at the skate park who treat my son and his friends with respect even though they might be a little younger and just starting out.

Also, thank you to the Marysville Parks and Rec for providing a place for them to skate. There are many of us that truly appreciate the park.
