Prep girls soccer: Lake Stevens 2, Kamiak 1

LAKE STEVENS — Lake Stevens handed first-place Kamiak its first loss of the season in a Wesco 4A match on Monday night.

The Vikings’ Jenna Sampson scored in the fourth minute of the match off an assist from Sydney Campebell to give the Vikings an early 1-0 lead.

In the 19th minute, Emele Chaddock scored the equalizer for Kamiak.

Ashley Perry delivered the decisive kick in the 44th minute, sending a ball into the net for what was the game-winning goal.
