Tulalip Bay homeowners report thefts of U.S. flags

TULALIP – About nine American flags flying in front of homes near Tulalip Bay at Hermosa Beach were apparently taken.

Billie Hayes, a homeowner on 76th Place NW, said she woke up Sunday and noticed her flag and the flags of several neighbors were missing.

One flagpole was apparently taken, Hayes said.

Tulalip Police Chief Jay Goss confirmed one report of a missing flag.
