Fatal car crash near Snohomish ruled an accident

SNOHOMISH — Detectives have finished their investigation into a fatal crash near Snohomish on March 1. The crash was ruled an accident and no criminal charges are expected, Snohomish County sheriff’s spokeswoman Shari Ireton said Wednesday.

Investigators believe that Donna C. Larsen, 59, of Lynnwood, ran a stop sign before her Buick Skylark was struck by a Ford F350 pickup truck. She died from her injuries.

It happened in the early afternoon at the intersection of 61st Avenue SE and 64th Street SE. The other driver was not seriously hurt.
