BREMERTON — Two Navy security boats collided in Sinclair Inlet while they were on patrol near the Bremerton Naval Station, but crew members suffered only minor injuries, the Navy said.

The collision occurred Sunday morning, but the Navy did not confirm it until Wednesday. The cause was under investigation, Navy spokeswoman Lt. Kim Marks said.

A total of four crew members were on board the two 25-foot boats.

One of the boats sustained structural damage and needs repairs. The other boat sustained minimal damage and returned to patrol.
