Free fare good time to give buses a try

As a regular bus-rider in Everett, the recent traffic problems had little effect on me. However, transit had difficulties for sure in keeping to their regular schedules. I was quite pleased to step onto a bus recently that said “free,” no fare is required. Although I am sure that DOT was supplementing the cost of fares during the Marysville fiasco, it is really nice that the bus riders are being given a break.

I believe that the “no fare” policy going on through Wednesday, was a nice way to make up for the inconveniences some riders were experiencing. This might be a good time for a few of the commuters to try an alternate mode of transportation. The bus isn’t all that bad.
