Challenge yourself by paddling in Deception Pass Dash

If you’re up for a fun, challenging paddle, check out the Deception Pass Dash on Dec. 8.

The 6-mile kayak, canoe or paddleboard race travels through the tricky waters of Deception Pass. Anyone interested in taking part should have experience and self-rescue skills.

The race starts and finishes at Bowman Bay in Deception Pass State Park. Starting time is 7:10 a.m.

Registration is $70 and includes a T-shirt, and coffee and food.
