SNOHOMISH — Snohomish senior Tyler Mayer scored two goals and assisted on three more in a season-opening Wesco 4A North win over Monroe. Blake Crutchfield scored first at 11 minutes and both he and Jose Gaspar came away with a goal and an assist. Luke Riske and Ryan Peters each played a half in goal and combined for the shutout.
