EDMONDS — Edmonds-Woodway pitchers combined for a two-hitter with 13 strikeouts in a season-opening nonleague win. Bryce Mezich struck out seven of those batters in his three innings and Tate Budnick came out from behind the plate to pitch the seventh and get the save. Joey Rees batted 3-for-3 for the Warriors.
