Tony award winner Levi Kreis: A member of Village Theatre’s “Pump Boys” cast, Kreis is performing a special concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Everett Performing Arts Center. Kreis played Jerry Lee Lewis in “Million Dollar Quartet” with Village and then on Broadway, where he picked up the Tony award for best featured actor. He plans to sing tunes from musicals “Rent,” “Pippin,” “Sweeney Todd,” “Beautiful,” “Violet” and, of course, “Million Dollar Quartet.” Tickets are $30. Call 425-257-8600.

Everett Community College: EvCC theater students will perform “Eurydice” at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 17-19 and Dec. 1-3 in EvCC’s Baker Hall, room 102. Playwright Sarah Ruhl reimagines the classic myth of Orpheus through the eyes of his wife Eurydice. After dying on her wedding day, Eurydice must journey to the underworld, where she reunites with her father and struggles to remember her lost love. As Orpheus embarks on a quest to save her, Eurydice must decide if she will return to earth with him or stay in the underworld with her father. Directed by Scott Randall, the cast includes Melanie Stagner, Jacy Leavitt, Sean Costello, Jesse Rutgers, Lacey Quincy, Makayla Gunzenhauser, Merrilee Pollett, Kirsten Sandberg, Leela Barlow and Esther Dovgopolaya. Edmonds Driftwood Players: Wade James Theatre, 950 Main St., Edmonds; www.edmondsdriftwoodplayers.org or 425-774-9600, option 3. Next up is “Mr. Scrooge” Nov. 25-Dec. 18. Lighthearted music makes this a wonderful way for the entire family to see the grand story of the hardhearted Ebenezer Scrooge.

Next up is Nick Poling’s and Alex DeRoest’s “Santa Claus Conquers the Martians” Dec. 2-18. Call for tickets. Not recommended for children, but great for teens and adults. Lots of laughs, stage combat and green blood.

Phoenix Theatre: The comedy theater is at 9673 Firdale Ave., Edmonds; 206-533-2000 or www.phoenixtheatreedmonds.org. A night and a matinee of comedy, improv and folly — “Whose Holiday is it Anyways?” — to benefit the launch of Youth Theatre Education Initiative, is set for 7:30 p.m. Nov. 19 and 2 p.m. Nov. 20. $25 donation includes treats, spirits and auction. Ages 21 and older. Next up is “Christmas Spirit” Dec. 2-18, directed by Keith Dahlgren.

Youth productions

Arlington High School: The comedy “Moon Over Buffalo” is on stage at 7 p.m. Nov. 11-12, and 3 p.m. Nov. 12 at Byrnes Performing Arts Center, 18821 Crown Ridge Blvd. Tickets are $10, or $8 for seniors and students.

Cascade High School: The classic “Our Town” will be performed at 7 p.m. Nov. 11-12 and 17-19 in the Bear Space Theater in the cafeteria at the high school, 801 E. Casino Road, Everett.

Lake Stevens High School: Meredith Willson’s “The Music Man” continues on stage at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 11-12, 16-19 in the performing arts center, 113th Avenue NE, Lake Stevens. Ballet

Olympic Ballet Theatre: The Edmonds company’s 36th season opens with “The Nutcracker” Dec. 9-11 at the Everett Performing Arts Center and Dec. 15-18 at the Edmonds Center for the Arts. The full-length romantic ballet “Giselle” will be performed April 8 at the Everett Performing Arts Center and April 29 at the Edmonds Center for the Arts. Alderwood Dance Spectrum: “A Storybook Nutcracker” performances are 9:45 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. Dec. 8, 9:45 a.m. and 7 p.m. Dec. 9, and 2 and 7 p.m. Dec. 10 at the PUD auditorium, 2320 California St., Everett. Tickets, $20 each, are available in advance at www.brownpapertickets.com.

Comedy
