Veterans Day Concert: Everett First Presbyterian Church presents its fourth annual free patriotic concert with soloists, the church chancel choir and handbell choirs at 7 p.m. Nov. 11 at the church, 2936 Rockefeller Ave. Everett High School JROTC will present the colors. Come ready to sing along and enjoy refreshments after the concert.

Paul Jenkins: The indie acoustic guitarist and singer performs at 7 p.m. Nov. 11 at Cafe Zippy, 2811 Wetmore Ave., Everett.

Voices Among Us: The Voices of the Village choir teams up with rock-jazz-blues-Celtic violinist Geoffrey Castle for a concert at 7 p.m. Nov. 12 at Northwest Music Hall behind Macy’s at the Everett Mall. The Voices Among Us concert is funded in part by a grant from the Washington State Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts. Cassandra Robertson &Wynter Byrnes: Acoustic folk CD release party, 7:30 p.m. Nov. 12, Tim Noah Thumbnail Theater, 1211 Fourth St., Snohomish. Tickets $10.

Jazz at the Center: The series continues with Pearl Django performing at 7 p.m. Nov. 16 at the Camano Center, 606 Arrowhead Road, Camano Island. Call 360-387-0222.

Blues and Brews Thursdays: Marysville Kiwanis Club joins the city in offering blues music and brews from a local microbrewery from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 17 with the Highway 9 Blues Band, both at the Marysville Opera House, 1225 Third St.; 360-363-8400. $5 at the door. The entertainment returns in January with Blues Dues, Margaret Wilder Band and Gin Joints.

Stringbands for Solidarity: Three local stringbands — the Dovetails, Hop Hi and Pickled Okra — offer a benefit concert for the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe in North Dakota. Proceeds will buy supplies for people trying to protect water supplies near the Dakota Access Pipeline. $15 donation. Concert starts at 7 p.m. Nov. 18 at Red Curtain Arts Center, 9315 State Ave., Marysville.

Country Girls Sing the Blues: A fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, this concert at 8 p.m. Nov. 19 at the Red Curtain, 9315 State Ave., in Marysville features Marcia Kester, Bev Cloer and Britta Grass with the Lost Creek Band singing and playing tunes by Bonnie Raitt, Susan Tedeschi, Ella Fitzgerald, Patsy Cline and Dusty Springfield. Nancy Erickson Quartet: Award-winning jazz vocalist Nancy Erickson performs with Eric Verlinde, Chris Symper and Max Wood at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 19, Thumbnail Theater, 1211 Fourth St., Snohomish. Tickets $20 or $15 for seniors and students.

Legends of the Blues IV: Arlington Arts Council will load the stage with a stellar line-up of musicians including Ben Hunter, Joe Seamons and Randy Oxford’s All-Star Slam at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 19, Byrnes Performing Arts Center, Arlington High School; 425-359-3755. Gary Stroutsos: The flutist offers a free concert of Native American music from various tribes at 2 p.m. Nov. 19 in the Everett Public Library, 2702 Hoyt Ave. Originally trained as a jazz flutist, Stroutsos has worked with the likes of Navajo flute maker Paul Thompson. He has appeared on the soundtrack of Ken Burns’ “Lewis and Clark: Journey of the Corps of Discovery” and other programs.

North Cascades Concert Band: Fall concert — “Pop Classics From the Masters” — is 7 p.m. Nov. 22 at Byrnes Performing Arts Center, Arlington High School, 18821 Crown Ridge Blvd. The program by the 60-piece band features music from Mozart’s Figaro, John Williams’ Star Wars music and Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture. Rebecca Kilgore, Dave Tull Quartet with Soundsation: Edmonds Community College’s Soundsation welcomes these musicians in residence for a concert at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 22 in the Black Box Theatre in Mukilteo Hall on campus, 20310 68th Ave. W., Lynnwood.

Sonus Boreal women’s chorale: northernsoundchoirs@gmail.com. “Haul out the Holly” concert will be presented at 3 p.m. and again at 6 p.m. Nov. 25 at Red Curtain Arts Center, 9315 State Ave., in Marysville. Tickets are $10 or $5 for seniors.

Nick Dumas and Chris Luquette: These young bluegrass stars are home for the holiday and offer a show at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 27 at Thumbnail Theater, 1211 Fourth St., Snohomish.
