Goose is a cool dude looking for a family to call his own! He already had a few homes and he is ready to find his forever home. He has lived with kids over 6 years old and other dogs. His new home should not have any cats because he really likes to play chase. He is a goofy guy that knocks children down so his new home needs to take that into consideration. He is very active and loves to play fetch! He barks when he is alone so he is not suited for apartment/condo living. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
Midnight is a handsome active lab ready for a new home. He will need plenty of exercise and training. Midnight came to us as a stray so we don’t know too much about him. His new home should not have any cats or other dogs. He really has not done well with other canines here. Any kids in the home should be dog savvy and over 7 years old. He is very smart and tends to look for an escape route when left alone outside. Midnight needs a home where he can run and play so apartments aren’t a good fit. Midnight is not a dog who can go to the dog park or other events where other dogs will be around. (curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
Shilo is a very sweet senior in need of new home. Her previous owner passed away and she is a little lost. She has quickly become a volunteer favorite as she is wonderful on walks and loves belly rubs! Her ideal home would be where someone is home most of the time and she is the only pet as she does not want to share you with any other animals! Shilo does OK with other dogs but does not enjoy them being in her space. Before adopting please make sure you are financially stable to care for Shilo in her golden years as senior dogs do need special care and a watchful eye over their health. Come meet this wonderful girl today and be her forever home! (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)

The Everett Animal Shelter hosts thousands of stray and unwanted animals every year. Some are adopted right away, but some sit in the shelter for weeks at a time, waiting for a home. The shelter has dogs and cats, as well as some rabbits and birds, all looking for a loving home.

All pets are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and given a identifying microchip before they are adopted. Take a look at some of the dogs, cats and other animals that are available for adoption at the shelter now. Here is the previous post featuring animals up for adoption.

If you’re interested in adopting an animal, the shelter is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 425-257-6000.
