Huxley is a young dog in need of training and lots of exercise. For right now he will need an adult only home that has the time and patience to help Huxley become a good canine citizen. He does OK with other dogs her at the shelter but will likely chase small dogs and cats for fun. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
Revali is a sweet happy-go lucky pup who loves to please. She is a great walker and would make an excellent hiking buddy. She is good with other dogs and kids but will need a cat-free home. She is very smart and will need a home where she will be mentally stimulated and go for long walks. She is not suited for apartments due to her size and activity level. The Everett Animal Shelter hosts thousands of stray and unwanted animals every year. Some are adopted right away, but some sit in the shelter for weeks at a time, waiting for a home. The shelter has dogs and cats, as well as some rabbits and birds, all looking for a loving home.

All pets are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and given a identifying microchip before they are adopted. Take a look at some of the dogs, cats and other animals that are available for adoption at the shelter now. Here is the previous post featuring animals up for adoption.

If you’re interested in adopting an animal, the shelter is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 425-257-6000.
