These dogs are up for adoption from Everett Animal Shelter
Angel’s owner has passed away and she is in need of a new home. She gets along well with other dogs and has not lived with cats. Angel is very gentle with children but also needs them to be respectful with her. She is house trained and loves going for short walks. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
Belladonna is a young under socialized dog. She needs an adult only home that is ready to work with her to become more confident when meeting new people and dogs. She is young and should respond very well to positive reinforcement training. She will likely get along with calm well balanced dogs that can help show her the world is not a scary place. She will need a meet and greet prior to adoption. Her new home should have experience working with fearful dogs and have to time to work with her. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
Ella is an 11 year old lab mix who is ready and waiting to become a treasured member of someone’s family. She has lived her life outdoors and is hoping to spend her retirement inside a loving home where she can experience the spoiled life that she deserves. Don’t let her age fool you….she has a lot of energy and loves to go for walks, runs and hiking. Since she wasn’t walked on a leash in her previous home, Bella will need some lessons on leash manners. Any children in the home should be over the age of 10. This sweet girl has lived with cats and dogs and done fine, however, a meet and greet with the resident dogs of potential adopters is a must. The Everett Animal Shelter hosts thousands of stray and unwanted animals every year. Some are adopted right away, but some sit in the shelter for weeks at a time, waiting for a home. The shelter has dogs and cats, as well as some rabbits and birds, all looking for a loving home.

All pets are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and given a identifying microchip before they are adopted. Take a look at some of the dogs, cats and other animals that are available for adoption at the shelter now. Here is the previous post featuring animals up for adoption.

If you’re interested in adopting an animal, the shelter is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 425-257-6000.
