Lynnwood girls win 4th straight Edmonds Summer Shootout title

The Lynnwood girls basketball team claimed its fourth consecutive Edmonds Summer Shootout Championship this past weekend with a championship game win over Todd Beamer.
Lynnwood had victories over Kamiak, Mercer Island, Mountain View, Idaho and Snohomish en route to the championship game. Mountain View is Idaho’s reigning 5A state champion, but fell 68-25 to Lynnwood in the quarterfinals.
Glacier Peak defeated Snohomish 49-37 in the third/fourth place game.
