Everett Animal Shelter hounds ready for new homes
Charlie is an active dog that is looking for a home without small animals. This includes small dogs, cats or any other small pet. She loves to play fetch and knows a few commands. Any children in the home should be over 10 years old and be dog savvy. She may get along with another dog her size or bigger but will need a meet and greet prior to adoption. Dustin is a very exuberant young man! He will need plenty of exercise and training to become a great member of society. He will need a meet and greet with any resident dogs and he will likely give chase to cats. Any children in the home should be prepared to be knocked over as this guy is very strong and is not always aware of his surroundings. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
Shadow is a 6 year old female Great Dane who is looking for a special home. She is very nervous and can not live with children due to their unpredictability. She has lived with a small breed dog in the past but as she has aged she can no longer tolerate living with other dogs. Shadow will need a home with Great Dane experience please come prepared to let us know your plan! (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
Tru is an over the top active young lady. She requires plenty of daily exercise and some jobs to do. She will excel in a home with Pointer experience. She will need a cat free home and a meet and greet with any resident dogs. She is much too active for apartment living and will need secure confinement when outside. The Everett Animal Shelter hosts thousands of stray and unwanted animals every year. Some are adopted right away, but some sit in the shelter for weeks at a time, waiting for a home. The shelter has dogs and cats, as well as some rabbits and birds, all looking for a loving home.

All pets are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and given a identifying microchip before they are adopted. Take a look at some of the dogs, cats and other animals that are available for adoption at the shelter now. Here is the previous post featuring animals up for adoption.

If you’re interested in adopting an animal, the shelter is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 425-257-6000.
