Lovick appointed to Puget Sound Regional Council leadership role

SEATTLE — Snohomish County Executive John Lovick was appointed Thursday to a leadership role at the Puget Sound Regional Council.

Lovick will serve as the intergovernmental planning organization’s vice president. Redmond Mayor John Marchione was appointed as the group’s president.

The PSRC includes representatives from Snohomish, King, Pierce and Kitsap counties. It helps draft policy decisions about transportation, economic development and growth management for the four-county area, including local, state and tribal governments.
