SHORELINE — Conner McKeever shut down Meadowdale, which played as the home team at Shorewood due to poor field conditions in this Wesco 3A contest. McKeever struck out seven against just two hits and three walks to earn the win. Max Jacobs hit 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI for the Thunderbirds. Sam Thomas did all the damage for the Mavs, hitting 2-for-3 with a double, driving in both runs.
