Four dogs up for adoption at Everett Animal Shelter
Cashmere is a sweet little ball of energy! She is young and will benefit greatly from positive reinforcement training. She still needs to be potty trained and does not know any commands. Cashmere barks a lot and is not suited for apartment living. She will need a meet and greet with any resident canines and will likely chase cats. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
Dino is a fun, active little guy. He came to us as a stray so we do not know too much about him. He seems to get along with other dogs his size but would need a meet and greet prior to adoption. Any children in the home should be over 13 years old and be able to approach Dino slowly. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
Lexa sure is active! She needs a home where she can be mentally stimulated and go for long walks. She is not suited for apartments and her home will need a secure fenced yard. She can easily jump fences so will need to monitored while outside. She can be dominant with other dogs and she plays rough. She has never lived with cats and will likely chase them. She knows several commands but tends to get excited and jump up on people. Lexa is very strong on the leash and would benefit from behavioral classes. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
Timothy is an active young pup. He is in desperate need of training and someone with actual Shepherd experience. He seems to do ok with other dogs here but will likely chase cats. Timothy is much to mouthy for a home with young children and will need a large fenced yard. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)

The Everett Animal Shelter hosts thousands of stray and unwanted animals every year. Some are adopted right away, but some sit in the shelter for weeks at a time, waiting for a home. The shelter has dogs and cats, as well as some rabbits and birds, all looking for a loving home.

All pets are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and given a identifying microchip before they are adopted. Take a look at some of the dogs, cats and other animals that are available for adoption at the shelter now. Check out the previous post featuring animals up for adoption.

If you’re interested in adopting an animal, the shelter is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 425-257-6000.
