SHORELINE — Kendra Holley-Lair hit a two-run home run in the fifth inning for Shorewood (1-0 league, 1-1 overall). Winning pitcher Madison Hollenbeck had 10 strikeouts. Lynnwood (0-1, 1-1) pitcher Kelsie Mason also had 10 strikeouts. Lynnwood’s leading hitter was Kelsey Parker, who went 2-for-3 with a double.
