SEATTLE — A nine-run fifth inning was enough to boost Kamiak to it’s first victory of the season by virtue of the 10-run rule in a non-league contest. Ian Davidson (1-0) earned the Knights’ first W of the season with two innings of relief and two strikeouts. Seth Heck homered in his first at bat and finished the game 2-for-3 with three RBI and two runs scored. Lakeside (0-1) had as many hits (three) as errors. Kamiak’s three-spot in the top of the fourth broke a 1-1 tie and gave the Knights a lead they wouldn’t relinquish.
